  • Katherine Snedeker

    FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

    Kate is a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a degree in Youth and Community Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Gray for Glioblastoma began after her dad, her superhero, was diagnosed with GBM amid a global pandemic. As a woman of action, she quickly learned that more awareness was necessary to treat Glioblastoma and got to work on Gray for Glioblastoma. Her love for event planning and experience in organizing international conferences, digital marketing strategies, and meticulously managing for profit and nonprofit event logistics shows through the rapid expansion and rise of Gray for Glioblastoma. In recognition of her outstanding efforts, Katherine was nominated and selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 this year, a testament to her exceptional leadership and impact. She hopes to continue to ignite transformative change.

  • Tracy Caswell

    LEGAL SUPERVISOR

    Tracy is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Revel Systems, Inc. and oversees all legal and corporate secretarial matters for the company. Tracy is an accomplished business leader and General Counsel with more than twenty-six years' experience advising clients, including Boards of Directors and executive management for both public and privately held companies. Tracy's expertise includes complex commercial contracts, employment matters, litigation, intellectual property, board governance and risk and resource management. She also has a deep background in the technology and software sector.

  • Susanna Ling

    NONPROFIT ADMINISTRATOR

    Progressive and results-oriented executive with strategic development, relationship management, revenue generation, marketing, and programming experience gained from working with biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and non-profit organizations. As an innovative leader in the development and implementation of international biopharma events, I work closely with KOL’s, investors, C-suite executives, BD professionals, patient advocates, and other industry stakeholders. I'm a passionate advocate for diversity, and lead change management programs that foster greater access, inclusion, and opportunities for underrepresented communities.

  • Steve Simon

    PUBLIC RELATIONS DIRECTOR

    Steve Simon is a seasoned public relations and marketing professional who has led a variety of strategic communications teams in both public and private-sector organizations over the past three-plus decades. Currently, he is Director of Marketing and Communications for the Universities at Shady Grove, a regional campus of the University System of Maryland with programs from nine public universities offered on one campus. He has served on a wide variety of boards for non-profit organizations over the years, including several years as a board member for a local charity in Maryland that provided direct monetary assistance to cancer patients in great financial need. Steve and his wife, Karen, reside in Gaithersburg, Md. and have two adult children and two grandchildren.

  • Elena Ricci

    Elena Ricci

    BOARD MEMBER

    Elena Ricci is a Corporate Events Specialist at BAE Systems Inc., an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and service for air, land, and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services. She currently supports recruitment and hiring events within the Electronic Systems sector of approximately 13,000 employees. Elena has been with BAE for three years supporting various teams. Elena received her Master’s in Business Analytics with a focus in hospitality in December 2022 from Virginia Tech. Prior to BAE Systems she graduated from Virginia Tech in 2021 with an undergraduate business degree in Hospitality Tourism Management and minor in Communications. Elena earned All-ACC honors while playing Division 1 lacrosse at Virginia Tech Division from 2017-2021. The team experience helped develop her leadership qualities and drives her passion for continuous improvement. In addition, had international and domestic internship work experience in the service, events and association management. Elena’s expertise include event planning, human resources, talent acquisition, communications, and hospitality. Making her a great addition with generational insights and an array of expertise and experience.

  • Alex Bushman

    BOARD MEMBER

    Alex is the founder of The Bushman Group, a social impact consulting agency that connects brands and influencers to non-profits in order to do good. During the pandemic, she co-founded WeGaveWhat, the philanthropic arm of @WeWoreWhat by Danielle Bernstein. In its first couple years, WeGaveWhat coordinated donations over $300K to various organizations, organized monthly giveback campaigns and launched 4 pop-ups in SoHo to support small businesses. Last year, Alex also launched the Community Arm for MAKE UP BY KELLI ANNE.
